While Freedom Contractors offers a large variety of custom deck options, most of our projects contain the following maintenance free, premium quality components.

• Due to shortages and quality concerns within the lumber industry, our company has switched exclusively to light gauge, commercial grade steel framing for our decks. Steel framing ensures that your deck will be perfectly straight and your framing will last for a lifetime!
• While composite decking technology has advanced greatly since the early 2000s, many companies are still selling wood/plastic composite decking which consists of recycled wood material covered with a thin, slick plastic cap. The innovators at Deckorators, a subsidiary of Universal Forest Products, have created Deckorators Voyage decking which has many advantages over other decking products. This decking features Enhanced Traction Technology, cooler temperatures when exposed to sunlight, and less expansion and contraction in temperature changes than any composite deck product on the market. We always use CAMO Edge Clip hidden fasteners and color matching screws on our decks so that our customers will see only a clean, fastener-free surface.
• Our competitors often install low quality wood or plastic railing which requires maintenance and often sags in the sunlight. Freedom Contractors uses Fortress and Deckorators railing products which are manufactured in a strict factory setting and powder coated for corrosion resistance. We also offer custom Pergola designs which can be integrated into your railing!
